COLORWAY
Turquoise was inspired by a trip to Santa Fe years ago where I had the opportunity to admire the beautiful silver and turquoise jewelry made by local Native Americans. It's  semi-solid and matches many of my variegated colorways.

YARN BASE
I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards.
