COLORWAY Caribbean Sunset was inspired by the idea of a sunset over the ocean. About one third of the skein is dyed in shades of blue and green to represent the water. The opposite third is dyed in all the colors of the sunset--orange and gold and lilac and purple and fuchsia. The middle section represents the reflection of the sunset on the water and has deeper purples and blues.
Each of the three sections has multiple colors in it with some overlapping between them, so this is both a Splashed and Speckled colorway and a block variegated colorway. My son Joseph came up with this colorway, and I think it's stunning! I hope you enjoy creating with it.
YARN BASE It is dyed on Sock Perfection, which is made of 80% extra-soft merino and 20% nylon, making it perfect for socks or anything else you want to be machine washable and hard-wearing.
