The painting that inspired this yarn colorway is by Leonid Afremov, a late 20th century artist who used a palette knife and these amazing brilliant colors that are sort of reminiscent of pointillism.

YARN BASE
I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass DK, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 100% superwash merino. Before it's dyed, one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass.
