The painting that inspired this yarn colorway is by Leonid Afremov, a late 20th century artist who used a palette knife and these amazing brilliant colors that are sort of reminiscent of pointillism.
YARN BASE I used my Squiggle Sock, which is made of 90% superwash merino and 10% nylon and has these wonderful little beehives or slubs for added texture.
